The development of green finance has become a global consensus and trend. Since 2015, China's green finance has moved from "Zero" to "Hero." As an important part of green finance, in recent years, the market of green bonds in China has been developing rapidly, and the participation of various kinds of actors such as government, issuer and investors has deepened. Internationally, the issuance of green bonds is gathering more attention; and the cooperation and dialogue between China and the world in the field of green bonds are deepening. In the future, how to promote the indepth convergence of the two domestic and foreign markets is an issue that we should all consider.
This event will be presented by Mr. Aldo M. Romani on the theme of the practice and outlook of the European green bond issue. Mr. Aldo M. Romani is the world's first trader of green bond issuance and a pioneer in global green finance. In 2007, he began incorporating social responsibility into EIB's financing strategy, manipulating the issuance of the first green bond and thereafter overseeing the entire EIB green euro bond issuance. EIB is currently coordinating with the People's Bank of China in the field of green bond cooperation.
